Strange name. Cool people. That's us. We originally started out as Business Analysis For Manufacturing Facility SoftWARE... but that didn't sound cool enough, and misleads you from the start. Sure we can make your Vercom PRIMAC installation fly... but oh, dear reader... we can do so much more.
At Bamf!Ware, we are the outsiders. We're the last ones you would expect to change things.. But that's exactly what we're doing. We believe that huge corporate budgets and focus groups don't guarantee good products. We're simply a bunch of geeks who have the courage to try new things, and think outside of conventional logic. It's what sets us apart. We don't need focus groups- we let our users guide us. Programmers that listen? Yet another thing that sets the minds at Bamf!Ware apart from the others..
PlatformsAt BAMF, we have experience on platforms ranging from AS/400s and s/390s, to various UNIX implementations, ranging from BSD-variants to true UNIXs, such as AIX. Around here, we even speak penguin, for those looking for low-cost, yet extremely reliable, implementations from vendors such as Red Hat and SuSE.
Architecture
With the myriad of choices facing organizations these days, there is no longer a clear-cut choice in terms of client/server application development. Do you go with thin-client, or fat-client? Our Philosophy
There is a passage in an ancient text known as the Hagakure, which defined the way of the samurai:
